I have seen it advertised. It is a 3rd party product but I do not recall the name of the company at this moment.

I have seen it in practice. Plastic part, onwall (not inwall!).
Problem: it is not a wall docking station. The TSU9800 is combined with a wire (plugged) from the power supply. You have to unplug this wire, if you want to moove the TSU9600 to another place.
I don´t know the manufacturer of this wall mount.

Seems like the 3rd party wall mount recently announced at CEDIA was for the 9600 instead of the 9800. It wasn't cheap. The 9800 wall mount was suppose to be a pronto phillips component... SJ

So I guess one has to go to an authorized dealer for to get the Philips version. No on line purchase?

This is the place that has 9800 parts and I see just now that the wall mount is listed. When I looked a week or so ago it was not there. I sent them an email a while back asking if it was in stock and never got an answer. I guess I'll give them a call on Monday.

A question: If I wired the wall mount with a LAN cable, what would happen if I took the 9800 off the mount? Is there some way to have the wireless make a new connection automatically when the 9800 is off the wall mount? I doubt it. I think you would have to go into the PEP2 and reconfigure the connection. Correct?

Yes, the panel is setup for either wireless or ethernet in the system properties in the editor.

Right, now the only mount for the TSU9800 is the plastic wall mount. Which is fine if you would like to see that big, expensive remote hanging from a piece of plastic. :-/

Keep an eye out around the june/july time frame for a in-wall mount announcement.

As of this year the TSU9800 is delivered with a plastic on-wall mount frame from Philips. This might not yet be availible in all regions due to old stock.

Polarbear are working on a resessed version where the TSU is level with the wall surface for permanent fixture. That will be in metal.

The upcoming TSU9800 wall mounting will most likely be cheaper as it has significantly less mechanical parts.

Apart from the screen size is there any other difference between the 9600 and the 9800?
Thanks

The 9800 has power & ethernet ports on the back for wall-mounting applications...
