I've slowly been launching my new project (getting reacquainted with Pronto, through the Pronto Professional), and the logical starting point has been to start adding commands to "my database." There are several components in my system for which no commands are available except the hard way.

Well, I've also just got a new laptop with Windows Vista, which I positively hate. I'm reverting back to an XP Pro system, but the problem is that I've loaded a whole bunch of commands into the PEP1 database, and, as much as I try to save a particular file, or copy a file to a disc, I can't get the replicated database to pick up the new additions. It simply reverts back to the default "my database."

I'd like to be able to copy what I've added thus far, but, other than downloading it into the TSU9600, is there any way to save it?

Thanks,

Nick

I presume you've pressed F1 while using the software?

Can you not use File->Backup My Database or File->Restore MyDatabase?

.

How do I then take what I've saved and move it to a different computer?

Thanks,

Nick

You simply take the file that you exported, copy it like any other regular file and then Restore MyDatabase on 2nd computer.

Could it be that you are trying to mix and match (merge) components from more than one file?
