Hi All

About a month back I upgrade my firmware to v6.0.21. Since then the behaviour has been very unstable.

Roughly every two weeks the TSU9600 will freeze. This typically happens when I press a macro button (such as watch TV / listen to music etc.). There is no warning and the unit just stops responding, the screen freezes but there is a small blueish square in the upper left corner.

Oddly, when the remote is left for a while out of it's cradle, a soft click can be heard every few minutes.

Anyone seen anything like this?

I have seen this behavior on one of my four 9600's that is in contact with an RFX9400. The other three do not contact the RFX9400 but go through an RFX9600. I have been in touch with Philips in Belgium and sent them my XCF file. I reverted back to ver 5.0.6 in the mean time and am no longer experiencing the problem.

Kaizen,

It has already been reported to Belgium. A search for last 3 months of 'click' will likely find the thread. If this continues to be a problem, you can always back off to 5.0.6 as it will work with latest PEPv2 as well.

Hi

Thanks for the quick reply!

I'm seeing a problem with my TSU9600 which is paired to a RFX9600.

Lyndel, I did search... but I looked for "freeze". Next time I will be more thorough.

Thanks again!
