Hi,

Does anybody know how to change the background image of an activity (or system background) with prontoscript?

Thanks

Sebastien

Why not just create a panel the size of the full screen and send it to the back, then change image with PS ?

A panel will go in front of my PS_FIRM* keys and i want the background image to appear behing the transparent firmkeys button, like when i set the background at activity level with PEP2.

But apparently i have no choice to do it like you suggest, i will resize my background (a picture taken at regular interval from a public webcam) to keep my firmkey visible.

Thank you

Setting the Activity Background (PEPv2) cannot currently be done using ProntoScript.

Here is how I do it:
I created a panel on the system page called "backmain"
I then created a hidden page under the "Home" device called "Images"
Here I created panels each with a different background image and a different prontoScript name ("bg1", "bg2", etc.)
In page properties of each page I run a script to set the one I want.

var b = CF.widget( "backmain" , "PS_SYSTEM" );
var n = CF.widget("bg4", "Images", "Home");
b.setImage(n.getImage());

Is this what you want to do? I thought PEPv2 did that automatically.

PEPv2 does not allow ProntoScript access to the Activity Background.
