All versions of HAI's Pronto-Link module have been updated.

From the HAI web site:
"Home Automation, Inc. (HAI), announced today that Pronto Link, a ProntoScript integration module for the Philips TSU9400, TSU9600 and TSU9800 Pronto remotes, is now available in Italian and French language versions as a free download.

Pronto Link allows integration with Ethernet-enabled HAI Omni and Lumina family controllers and the Philips Pronto remotes. Current foreign language versions of HAI’s Pronto Link software include Chinese, Russian, and Hebrew in addition to the English and English demo version."

See more on their blog:

You can get the modules from Philips' ProntoScript download area:

What is different in this version? 2.1 wasn't even available on the Prontoscript website until weeks after that press release. I finally see 2.1 available but now I get a server error when I try to download it. In the documentation notes, 10/13/08 is still the release date. I want to know if there are some new features added. Do you have any idea?

Thanks,

Jason

Really, this was just an upgrade to release new versions of Italian & French. Most of the effort was directed at streamlining adding new languages to the existing ProntoScript module. There were a few bug fixes that are detailed below:
1) Fixed Temperature display listing problem if no Thermostats were included but
Temp/Humidity sensors were included.
2) Fixed Modes page title to display properly for Lumina.
3) Updated all Audio pages to display using language labels.

I was able to get all versions yesterday from the prontoscript download area. It does appear that the new Installation notes did not get on the web site. I'll check with Philips to rectify the situation.

thanks rhgoalie,

i see you work for HAI and are also a roller hockey goalie? very cool, i play myself in new jersey. anyway, thanks for the explanation and it seems i do not need the update. i thought i read somewhere there is a way to get the outside temp to display on the main page like a touch screen? any plans to get the user settings to be added?

thanks again,

jason

Yes, playing roller hockey is a lot of fun but I think I'm getting a little too old for it. But my boys are getting the bug so the legacy will continue!

We didn't put the outside temp display on the main screen because a user may not have one installed and unlike the touchscreen, the Pronto wouldn't know if it was there or not. So, we left it off.

No plans to add the user settings into Pronto-Link yet.

But you are welcome to alter the Prontoscript to add these features;-)

Thanks so much,

Is there anywhere I could learn how to write some prontoscript for the HAI? I have learned how to issue commands outside the HAI page but would like to learn how to at least attempt the temperature on the main screen first.

Thanks,

Jason
