Hi

As the topic says, I'm trying to controll a Xantech MRC88 via RS232 but I just can't seem to get control of the device. I have used a Null modem cable as described in the manual along with the commands shown (ie "!2PR1+" to power on zone 2). Am I missing anything, or is there anything I should add to this command.

Any help would be gratefully accepted

Adam

Hello Adam,

You need to add the command /CR ( carriage return ) at the end.
Consider it as an "enter"

Also specify the RS232 port on the RFX9600 you're using.

Hope this helps
