Hi all,
I would like to authorise access to specific menus on the pronto through pin code authorisation - Specifically I am looking at a lighting solution to provide control for around 200 circuits - beyond physical switch control I want to be able via the pronto to allow user control of subsets of the lighting menus based on rights - ie via pin code you can control all lights but the normal lighting menu provides for control of a subset of circuits - Is there any code out there that i can utilise ?

Thanks for any help. This could be a start of a long journey.....

Do you want a ProntoScript solution or one that is implemented using several pages?

If the latter, then there are some examples for the Classic Pronto where pressing a set of buttons in particular sequence jumps you between pages.

Hi Lyndel - Thanks for the response - I woud like to use a prontoscript solution - from the lighting menu for example the user selects 'All Lights' - They are returned with a message - please enter access code - once entered they are sent to menu A,B or C based on access code entered.
Regards

Do you know javascript? Have you downloaded, read and understand the Dev Guide? Have you reviewed and understand the ProntoScript in the Galaxy96PS game? The code there provides solid examples of moving from one position to another based on button presses (determining which button was pressed and setting variables based on press).

Or, are you wanting someone to write a solution personally for you and you not have to learn what was done?

If the answer is the latter, email me offline and we can talk options...

Edited to clarify "moving from one position to another".
