Hello, wondering if the 9600 supports two way communication, or to what capicity? Looking to pick up something for a customer who wants a remote with true two way, but not sure if the device has it or has it yet... Haven't paid much attention to this remote , but I heard it did have 2-way. ALso, any limitiations would be greatly appreciated as well.

No 2-way RS232 as of yet.
There's plenty of info in the 300 or so threads here Feel free to browse around and ask questions.

What sort of communication are you looking for?
The Escient is the big one.
Lutron doesn't get the same sort of hubub but its back and forth.
But straight up serial... what is the current volume on my receiver... not yet.
What song do I want to play from my Fireball... that works. But it also works on the Thousand dollar more T4! :)
