Do NOT remove PEP V1.1. You will need it to migrate PCFs and CCFs into PEP.

Use PEP 1.1 to import a PCF or CCF and convert it to an XCF.

Then open the XCF in PEP V2 and save it.

Obviously PEP V1.1 and PEP V2 can live side by side.

Note that you cannot do this with PEP V1.0. Only V1.1 XCFs can be opened in PEP V2.

Can you still use PEP V1.1 if you have performed a firmware upgrade

As PEPV2 does not support IR code directly in buttons, prior to being able to use a configuration created in PEPv1 or imported from a PCF/CCF, you must first convert all your IR codes into Database Codes that are stored in MyDatabase in PEPV1.

See the PEPV1 Help File searching for Database Quick View and the right-click option from a device to 'Save To Database'.
