When you have multiple tabs, as in the default "Single Room" configuration for "Watch Live TV", when you press the "Page Up" hard button "+" on the remote, it goes to tab 3 instead of 2 ("-" goes to tab 2). Since I don't have the hardware yet (being shipped), is this a problem with the simulator or did they label the add special actions wrong?

No, Page Up, if on page 1 goes to page 3. Page Down, if on page 1 goes to page 2. This was brought up during Beta and the answer was that functionality was consistent with other windows applications.

It just cycles through all the pages.

I guess I will switch it then because for me, logically thinking, a "+" would increment the number and a "-" would decrement. Thank-you for your quick reply.

While Lyndel is right (as usual) and that the PageUp/PageDown behavior is consistent with Windows applications, I also found it un-intuitive. Think about the computer keyboard you are using now, if you hit PageDown within a document, the page number will increase. However, I did not expect that same effect on my 9600 and I can't explain why...

When I change channels using channel down or up on any hotel TV I have used, if I press channel up on the highest channel it then goes to channel 1. If I press down when on channel 1 it goes to the highest channel. And I travel a lot and see lots of hotels.
I have no idea what my home TV does as I never use channel up/down as I have a Pronto.
Of course, imagine what volume up/down would be like if it worked that way!!!

I like to think of page up/down as if I had a stack of pages. Page down (-) goes to page below, the next page. Page up (+) goes to the page above in the stack, the previous page. For those that prefer to think numerically. i.e. page up (+) goes from page 1 to page 2, simply swap the button definitions on the System page in the editor!

Above is pretty much the explanation we got from the Pronto Team. Page Up goes to the page before and page down to the page after. This is consistent with PowerPoint, Word, Etc...
To be technically correct on a PC keyboard, Page Up should really be called "Page Minus 1" and Page Down should really be called "Page Plus 1".
