Sorry for such a basic question but I am having no success in producing a screen shot from PEP. "PrtScn" key does not deliver anything, anywhere (though works perfectly in PPENG). I have searched my computer far and wide for any bmp that might have resulted. What am I missing? Suggestions gratefully received.

If you hit the "Print Screen button" - you can then "Paste" that into virtually any place - Email, Word, Excell, Notepad, etc.

You can also use ALT+Print Screen to only copy the current window. Then you can open up good old paint brush and use Ctrl+V to copy it into and save the picture in the format of you choice.

Thanks for your replies, which prompted me to play around some more. What I have found is it is not possible, as it is in PPENG, to press PrtScn from the simulator in PEP and automatically a Pronto folder is created on the C: drive with the screenshot images labelled in sequence. In PEP no such folder is created. From the PEP simulator "PrtScn" by itself copies the entire computer screen to the clipboard, ALT+PrtScn copies both the simulator and its contents as one image to the clipboard and, what worked for me, pressing CTRL+PrtScn once in the simulator sends the screenshot only to the clipboard to be used as desired.

Hey Peter,
Never knew it created those folders from the sim. I created a generalized handbook with screen shots but I had to paste into Photoshop and cropped and masked out everything that wasn't needed. This would have saved so much time and now I can see myself doing custom handbooks for individual customers. It also works with PENG. And now that I know about it, it REALLY sucks that it doesn't work in PEP.

Isn't the simulator window now a rectangle? Would that not alleviate your need to crop?
