Where can you buy this remote. Can't even find it on google or ebay. Have the TS 1000 and really ready for a change!

I see a banner ad at the top of this page that might have them.

There are several companies who support this site that also sell this product.

www.letsautomate.com have got them for just under £700. Not sure if that's a good or bad price, but I always look there first for new gadgets!

That RemoteQuest website is the worst I've ever seen. Right in the banner here they say they've got them in stock, but looking through their website there's no way to actually order them! At least not online anyway. LOL

Klaatu,

Manufacturer and the distributor restrict selling and putting a price on the internet. Give me a call directly.

Trust me - you might not like his web site, but Dave is a stand up guy and will treat you right and give you GREAT customer service.

Wow. Must not buy much online if that is the worst site you've ever seen. Seriously, I've had very positive experiences with Dave and Remotequest, inlcuding purchase of TSU9600 and RFX9600.

I purchased a TSU 9600 from Remote Central member Sound.SD, as have a number of other members at Remote Central. The service was excellent. Placed my order, got same day shipment and received my remote the very next day (expected a 2 day delivery based on shipping I paid for, got the remote in less than 24 hours), all at a very good price, certainly less than list. Based on my experience, I highly recommend Sound.SD (Corey).

I just bought mine from Dave and he has been very helpful. He is located in the San Francisco Bay Area - so I was even able to go check out various remotes.

You will be writing your own for the time being until a files section opens up here. There are many samples provided with the software. Why not download it and get started now?

Will do, will I be able to import my RU980 file into it and improve it from there?

Sort of. Everthing is one quarter the size and the top of the page can overlap some of the system area. You can still push the buttons if you use the stylus.

Jason,

Import everything and you can use your older IR codes. Just start replacing the graphics with ones which are larger, for the 640x480 screen.
