A question for the webmaster (Daniel) -

Any thought of creating a new folder under Philips Universal Remote Controls for the new Pronto Professional TSU9600 and its two optional extenders, RFX9400 & RFX9600?

I just feel its a different animal altogether in relations to the ProntoPro NG TSU7500, TSU7000, Pronto NG TSU3500, TSU3000, Marantz RC9500 and RC5400 and warrants a place of its own.

Just a thought ...

I agree with wjjz106. While I'm curious about the TSU9600 I know that I'll never have one. I have a rather modest home theater. Besides my plasma TV nothing in my setup costs as much as a 9600.

The only reason I can think of that there shouldn't be a separate forum for the 9600 is that I'm afraid that the more advanced users who provide invaluable information would leave this forum for the new one.

Any update on this? I have my first version of a decent TSU9600 configuration I'd like to share.

nyjklein, the original request in this thread was actually for a separate FORUM for the 9600. This forum has been created and this thread is in that forum.

What you are after is a separate FILES area for the 9600.

Perhaps if you submit your XCF, with an explanation that it is for the 9600, Daniel might set up a new files area.

Yes, that's the best way to do it. I need content for an area before I can create it. So, upload any XCF file you want via the regular upload form (ie. for the Pronto NG area) and just clearly mark what remote it's for. When I get 5-6 I can create the new section.

Has anyone followed through with this? I would love to see some other design layouts.
