Had problems controlling my Meridian Digital Sound Processor through serial, which were fixed through updating the firmware on the TSU9600. (thanks to Lyndel McGee's suggestion.)
At the same time I attempted to update the RFX9600 but was unsuccessful. As I had solved my initial problem I left it alone.....

However for future reference I would like to know if it was something I was doing wrong....

I downloaded the files from the Philips site and followed the instructions....unfortunately it did not seem to like any of the files supplied.
being....."parts.config, rootfs-1.0.33.jffs2, sndr-1.0.33.bin and zImage-1.0.33.

Should they be loaded in any particular order.

Thanks

Roy

Do not open the files. Save the entire download as a .zip file, just the way it downloads. In the firmware updater, browse to the .zip file that you saved from the download and then slect update. the firmware updater will open the files and run the update. if you need more info, let me know.
