Hi Folks,

I know what the pack and go feature does and glad to see it back in the 9600.

Question: What does a remote cutomer need to do in order to run the pack-n-go?

1. Install PPE?
2. Establish and USB connections?
3. Interact with Windows for drivers or anything?

Thx Dave

Just send em the EXE and have them connect the remote and run the EXE. The 9600 uses standard Windows HID drivers.

This was a big question for me too... but at training they said specifically that the remote required no special drivers like all the others before. Just send them the EXE. Now the issue was whether the packed file was too big for some emails to receive.

For those with email file size problems or complaints...

There is this new technology called a CD and it can hold about 700MB of data. And, the USPS snail-mail offers first class mail for CDs. I suspect you could get a CD out to a customer in 1-2 days.

Not being an arse here. The company for whom I work just shipped its first software release on DVD. It's freakin' hilarious.
