My TSU 7000 got damaged in a house fire recently. My initial plan was to find another and just replace it so I could keep all of my current programming.

Now with phillips annoucment I am wondering if putting the money into a different remote would be a better decision? One of my friends is a installer for a RTI dealer so I could go that way but would have to depend on him for programming.

I have also looked at the IRule package and purchasing a IPAD.

Or are there other options out there? I'm not to concerned about hard buttons as I have never had them stable so I don't rely on them.

thanks
