Sorry -- just realized I posted this in the wrong forum. Reposted in "Philips Pronto NG Family".

Just picked up a Roku 3 box and am trying to use my TSU7000. I'm using the IR codes referenced in this post: [Link: forums.roku.com]. Problem is that the Roku completely ignores the IR. I'm aiming the remote at front of the Roku and have even tried aiming it as the small window on the front right of the Roku (where the white LED is located) but get nothing. Does anyone have any advice for getting this working with a Pronto?

Thanks -- Steve

I've been thinking a lot about this. I have a roku xds, which is what the hex codes in your link refer to. (I am guessing that is what you are referring to, as reading the entire post doesn't really make it clear).

It makes me want to ask a several questions:

Are these CONFIRMED codes for the 3? Only a single user is reporting yes.

Is your firm up to date?

All roku respond to same codeset. Sometimes a newer roku command won't work for all until older roku are upgraded to accept the new commands. At this time all roku's work with ALL roku IR commands.

And yet the OP's doesn't work and this thread has begun.

Plus, he is discussing an OLD command for the XD that does not work for a NEW device.

Care to rephrase your "All roku" statement. It seems suspect to me that the Roku 3 would not have the same buttons on the remote for things as important and commonplace as netflix and pandora whether or not it had the ability to accept the code. I guess the only way to know would be to update the firm and to fire the commands from another remote to make sure it isn't the pronto. Looking at in Scrutinizer or IR manager, we see it is a fairly common carrier frequency and protocol that the pronto, especially such a late model, should have no difficulty handling. Of course, I may be wrong.

I just tested the two commands in the OP's link on roku forum, and they work fine for replay and back. I used mx-editor on a mx-850 remote.

They work on the three models of roku I own, roku 3, xs, and xd.
