Hi all,
I have a Philips TSU9200 and the RFX9200 RF extender. The extender has 4 IR outputs (3.5mm mono) and comes with 4 emitters.
I have a Key Digital switcher with a serial IR input. I thought I could just hook up a mono phono cable from the emitter jack to the switcher's IR in (& use the emitter elsewhere), but it doesn't work.
Do I need to get special IR cables, or is there a problem with the IR in on my switcher? Product links would be helpful...
Thanks.

I would try with a emmiter on the front to check the codes are right . If they are then try turning the gain up on emitter port. Ir in ports are some times tough to get working. there are some products that it works with out the ground. It is trial and error .

Emitters on the front and back receivers work fine, it's just the mini port that doesn't, so it's not the codes. I tried a gain adjustment as you suggested, with no luck (the RFX9200 has 2-position dipswitches).
I'll stick with the emitter for now, until I can think of something else to try.
Thanks!
