I just got the 1056B03 to use for my Sony TV. I have program the remote to turn the tv on and off, also the volume and the menu buttons work. However, I cannot make the channel change. I don't have a cable box so I have to change the channels from the tv. Can anybody help me. Thank you

Follow the 973 instructions. Your remote is currently setup to send CH+/- to the cable box.
