Hi all,

Just starting using push controls, but want to know where to get some of the scripts they are using as i can't find any on there site and can't see any on the BitWise website as well.

I already have the push Project Editor and app, seems to work ok but want to add the weather and favorites to my GUI.

Is someone able to help me?

Thanks, James.

Push Controls where not very helpfull.

Ended up going to Ness and getting a Ness Genie.

Found that this product is basicly the same and they provide way better support than push.

Never going back to push controls again as they are a waste of time.

Hi James,

Being a PUSH Controls dealer gives you exclusive access to the ‘dealer only’ section of our website where you can access all of the Modules you have mentioned.

I am embarrassed to say that it’s taken us a week to spot this post on the RC forums! This matter could have been resolved faster if you had sent us an email……. or a phone call…….. or posted on our internal ‘dealer only’ forum. It’s a shame that the first point of contact from you is reading this rather negative post.

PUSH is very strict on who becomes a channel partner and hence don’t give away our modules to non-dealers. Thousands of development hours have gone into the production of these modules, giving them out to everyone would not be fair on the dealers who have spent time training on the proper implementation of them.

Both of the modules you mentioned were supplied to all dealers who attended the relevant training. Please post your details (or email them to [email protected]), and if you attended training (as required), I will grant you the proper access to the dealer side of the website.

PUSH is very transparent about the branding of BitWise hardware (it’s written on the box and the website). However, all Modules developed have been created only for the PUSH branded version of the hardware. These will not work on any other version (this includes the BitWise BC4).

Our dealers enjoy such modules as:
-5 day user-definable weather forecast
-Foxtel / Austar Module allowing the user to define favourites
-Full 2-way C-bus and Dynalite
-2-way I.P. / rs232 drivers for most popular brand AV Receivers.
-A greatly improved 2-way module for the NESS M1.
-2-way Sonos module (open beta)
-The list goes on……

NESS is a great company, we recommend all of our dealers use their DVRs and security products, and I hope they can help you with your needs. Just remember, neither NESS nor ourselves are mind readers, please call or email them with any problems.

Thanks and Kind Regards,
Team PUSH.

Welcome to RC, Team PUSH.

Don't feel too bad about James, he seemed like a DIY'er, not a dealer. That's probably why you weren't very helpful. DIY'ers don't like to hear a manufactureer tell them that they need to contact their dealer to get support, especially since e-bay doesn't offer the support they need.
"You can't fix stupid."
