Hello everyone,
I'm looking for a remote control with the ability to automatically press a certain button say once every hour...
Basically I have Pandora on my DVD player and it shuts off if there is no activity after a few hours and I want to be able to have the remote send a signal while I'm sleeping so that it won't shut off.
Does anyone know of a remote control that can be programmed to send a signal once an hour or anything like that, or do I have to build a robot that will press the button, lol. thanks!!

This has been asked in here before without any simple solution. However, you should be able to go into the settings menu of your DVD (are you sure it's not a BluRay) player and turn off the sleep mode.

RTI has a timer driver that can do exactly what you are looking for. Probably not the only excuse to switch to RTI, but certainly a powerful and feature packed control system.
