Hi There,

In Australia we have a huge range of remote for gates, rollerdoors & cars.

I'm looking for a device that reads these remotes and ID's their frequency and type of coding. eg rolling, fixed, hopping.

This device is available here but it's stupidly expensive. Can anyone sell to me or tell me where to purchase such a device ??

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I can reciprocate by helping with any alarm, surveillance, lock questions you may have.

Here in the US, such devices are highly illegal for a civilian to own. Only law enforcement, locksmiths, and radio techs can get them, and even then only with approval and licensing from the FCC.

If they were less expensive and more widely available, then any two-bit crook would be able to clone your clicker and just walk into your "secure" home or business.

Fair enough. As I'm a legit Security Firm I shouldn't have any trouble passing any legislative requirements.

I just need to know where to get them from.

Well, you did say they were available in your country, but were stupidly expensive.

There in only one supplier I know of who sells this device and he only sells it as part of a large "kit" so as to tie you into purchasing a heap of stock I don't want at the same time.

I'm hoping to work around this my purchasing a device from overseas.

If no one knows that's fine, I just thought this was a good place to look.
