I have a Phillips PM335 remote which I am trying to use to control a friend's GO Video VCR/DVD.
I made a DVD for her but found we were not able to navigate on her DVD. (I tested it on mine). She says that she can play DVDs but my impression is that she has never gone into various submenu offerings. She has an RCA universal remote - I think an RCR4383 - but we were not able navigate with it, and I have been told that her husband was also without luck. I suspect that neither is all that much into electronic gadgetry so no point in asking where the manual is or who programmed their remote.
