***EDIT***
The giant HEX codes worked. I didn't realize you had to copy the entire thing. I thought it was just 4 digits.

I too have this HDMI switcher. The one with 5 inputs. My problem is the codes that worked for you don't work for me. Keep in mind that I got this switch about 5 years ago and the IR receiver for mine looks slightly different from the one that is now on sale. I am trying to use a phone app called IR Remote 2.0. It allows you to enter custom HEX or decimal codes. Any ideas?

Okay sorry to dig up this old post but it's the closest thing I've found online to help me.

So I have a HDMI switch that looks like the one you've posted from Amazon. I bought off eBay but it says 5T01 HDMI Switch on it.

The remote works, but is a little flimsy. I had two, have broken one already. I just got Smart IR Remote on my phone and trying to program this guy in. It doesn't blast the IR code like regular remotes do, you have to keep pushing the button so it doesn't seem to program by IR blasting at my phone. I tried using those different codes but don't really understand them, or know what I'm doing with them.

I also tried using the codes to program my ROGERS PVR remote on the audio slot in the hope that it would blast the IR coming from that remote instead and then try add it to my phone.

BUT, I cannot seem to get anything to change the HDMI other than the original provided remote. Hope you guys can help me out :)

Thanks in advance.

Let's make sure that we have the correct setup code to use with the Rodgers PVR remote.  Use the 983 command to blink back the signature of the remote, and tell us what it is.

this is an old post probably folks are still usingt those HDMI switches. I've noticed most have found Nec 1, 128 to give them codes that work.

I've had good luck with Nec1, 2 with results i a much smaller device code and no required upgrade code needed for my 15-2117

Upgrade Code 0 = 00 6F (TV/0111) keymap-master Device Upgrade (KM v9.22)
5A 00 81 00 BF BF 00 9F AF 8F 6F 4F 00 00 00 00
End

that winds up being
1-$9F
2-$AF
3-8F
4-6F
5-4F

I have a "SANOXY HDMI 5x1 5 Port Switch/Switcher with IR Remote Support 3D" and the previous codes did not work. I decoded my remote with irremoteesp8266 and the following codes work for mine:

It was interesting that passing the decoded NEC code to the sendNEC() function did not work for 3/5 of the HDMI inputs, but passing the decoded raw data to the sendRAW() function works great for all 5 inputs.

example funtion call:
mySender.sendRaw(h1, 71, 38);

uint16_t h1[71] = {9066, 4496, 574, 562, 598, 512, 628, 508, 574, 562, 600, 510, 626, 508, 574, 562, 600, 508, 628, 1646, 600, 1646, 574, 1672, 626, 1646, 600, 1646, 574, 1672, 628, 1644, 598, 1648, 574, 1672, 626, 1646, 600, 1646, 574, 562, 598, 510, 602, 534, 574, 560, 596, 514, 602, 534, 576, 560, 576, 534, 602, 1670, 576, 1672, 574, 1672, 600, 1672, 576, 1670, 574, 40026, 9038, 2250, 574}; // button 1
