I've searched and searched to no avail. Thought that I'd try hear prior to calling MFG.

I have a DirecTV HR20-700 DVR and a Samsung BD-C6500 Blu-Ray player running to a Yamaha RX-V467 AV Receiver via indidual HDMI cables. I the have one HDMI cable running from Yamaha receiver to the a Samsung rear projection HDTV. Everything is working, thanks to this forum I understand that I can not control power to the Yammy from my DirecTV remote (thank you very much Edmund) and I am happy accept for one thing. I'm thinking it's not possible and I may be stupid for even asking. My DirecTV remote and (obviously) my Yammy remote operate the volume on the receiver. I programmed the Samsung TV into the Samsung Blu-Ray remote and all I get is the message that internal mute is on. I would like the Sammy Blu-Ray remote to operate the Yamaha receiver volume. Is this possible please?

I contacted Samsung Customer Support and was advised that it's not possible to control Yamaha receiver with Samsung Blu-Ray remote. The only extra imput that it has is TV.
