rave,
Are you trying to drive us crazy? You've been getting some help in this forum, but you're really not not showing much consideration to the rest of us. This is the 4th thread you've started, all on basically the same topic. You're not bothering to punctuate your posts, and the overall impression is that it hasn't occurred to you that it takes time to respond. The inference you could draw is that you should take some time in composing your questions.

So what are you talking about-- a December mode? A decrement mode? A decimal mode?

I posted a link in a response in your first thread which shows all the things you can do with a Comcast red button remote for a Sony HTIB. Please read it.

I apologize it is hard to type sometimes because of my two toddlers running around. The question is ,can I access the system menu from the sony remote through my comcast remote.I don't see any codes for that function. The reason I need to get into that menu function is that is how you change the sound functions of the unit(pro logic to a.f.d multi,to pro logic II movie to pro logic II music). Is it possibe? To do this on the sony remote you press the system menu key then that brings up dec. mode then you push the ok button on the sony remote to access the different sound settings

Again, I encourage you to look at [Link: remotecentral.com]; most of codes are there.  Look especially at Sound Field + and Sound Field -  (45518 and 44494).

Here are some additional (or duplicated) possibilities.
Amp menu 29391
Display 29647
Auto Format Direct 64975
Dimmer 53199
Memory 49615
Amp Menu/Tools 28110

Remember, you need to be using Setup Code 31758.  You can assign any of these 5 digit EFCs to a button using the 994 command just like you did in getting the OK button to work with the Vizio TV.
But read Post #2 in the above link.  It tells you how to test and assign the various functions.
