I have the Comcast Custom DVR 3 device remote and a Sony Google TV NSX-32GT1.

When I press the TV button on the remote and then press the OK button the remote goes back to controling the cable box. Is there a way for the OK button to control the TV?

I did try the fix you mentioned in another thread for a Visio TV, but it didn't work. The remote stayed on TV selection but didn't work.

We need to know which setup code you're using with the TV.

1) Tap the TV device button
2) Press Setup until 2 blinks
3) Enter 994 (should get 2 blinks)
4) Tap Setup (don't hold it)
5) Enter 00255
6) Tap OK/Select
The remote should blink twice.

3FG,
Thanks for the information. It worked. The reason I needed to get the Comcast remote OK button to talk to the TV was:

Dog ate Sony NSG-MR1 remote. (very expensive to replace)
I installed the free Sony Mobile Media app on my Android and Ipod touch devices.
The devices need to pair with the TV by bluetooth.
While pairing the devices to the TV, you need to press OK on the Comcast remote when the TV screen asks you to agree to the pairing.

This App is great. It has all of the functions of the remote.
Thanks again.
