Hi all,

I am trying to identify my universal remote control. Unfortunately, it's been stored away for a long time and this is all I have.

Here is a photo of the remote:

Tinyurl 3wv6zt4 if the link gets messed up.

It used to have a small flip cover on the top 2 rows of buttons just below the LCD. It also is missing its battery cover. Either of those places most likely are where the model or brand used to be labeled. Without them, I have no idea.

It is a universal remote with a bottom IR reader/learning IR. It has 5 banks for devices, each with all the buttons seen in the picture.

Any help identifying it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

B.

I'm sorry to say that I've never seen anything like it. It does, however, rather look like a generic model (supplied with something; receiver; dvd player; tv) rather than a standalone universal; i.e. I believe it unlikely you'll find a dedicated manual/instructions. Perhaps you'd be better off buying a replacement.

Thanks for the quick reply.

After hours of tinkering I have figured out how to make it learn from other remotes (via the bottom IR sensor), but its only 1 button at a time, and I have to already have the other remote.

Thanks for the help. I'll probably be buying a new universal with learning soon.

All learning remotes learn single a button at a time.
