A high-end custom home integration company needs a motivated, experienced, and connected sales lead generator. Our company designs and installs turn-key audio, video, lighting and control systems (Crestron) for high end homes. Both new construction and extensive remodel.

This position will be a fully commissioned sales position. You would need to have prior experience with the Custom AV & Control industry and tracking down leads to make this position profitable for yourself because very little training will be provided.

You will be able to lean on the resources of this company to help you with making the sales pitch, including documentation, processes, and a track-record that makes our company an easy sell to potential customers. However tracking down leads (builders, architects, new home owners) will be your responsibility.

Depending on size of the job, the commission can range from $1,500 to $20,000 per sale.

So basically, you're looking to take over somebody else's business and stamp your name on it for free and in return you will give them a small % and use of the photocopier.

Or did i read this wrong?

I think you're just reading it wrong.  Sounds like they are just looking for an experienced salesperson.  They're just trying to make it clear to the applicants that they will not be providing leads.
