Hopefully your programming is better than your website. No examples of your work? Just a screenshot from RTI? You are promoting yourself on an English language website, yet your website is not in English. Nice job.

My web sight? I am not a web sight programmer and am just to dam busy to deal with it . As to you being cynical and a "prime member" I am guessing u might worry I'll take work away from you , well guess what , I hope I do !!! How nice is my job now ?!

Avx hi & thanks 4 the q This customer had many many devices, and was about to receive a new tv in a few weeks , this way when he got the new tv I did not need to go through all the devices to change the codes, but to simply change these few macros in the XP which would automatically effect all n any device with this tv in it .
I hope you agree this makes sense :)

The work looks nice, but the attitude does not. You have to grow thicker skin if you wish to survive in business. Criticism, whether constructive or not, is something you should take and learn from. I myself would not work with someone that takes the approach you did. It comes across as immature. My advice, take a deep breath and think before you respond. I am telling you this after learning on my own and changing over time. Good luck.

My add is targeted to serious installers that want great work for their RTI integration projects, but do not have the time or skill to do the programming . I think all other posts that are not directly responding to my offer, in a respectful and reasonable way, are simply irrelevant; and should not be posted here, regardless of my skin's thickness. :)

Don't get discouraged but it is very hard to do what you are wanting to do.
Doing the programming has inherent problems that you will have to deal with like wrong codes, sync issues, anything. Then they email you, wait for you to do changes (time difference) reload programming, test. Extra work you want paid for, they already paid, blame you, client getting upset, installer getting upset. Lots of things go wrong.
I would look into making your website better suited for selling GUI's or pre-made pages that can be downloaded easily and paid for with a credit card.
Example, I buy your DTV pages for $4.99 load in my commands into the pages in five minutes and I'm done and happy that I didn't spend a hour making all the graphics.
Just a thought.

Dear burtont62 Thanks for your comments and the way you present them. No, I am not discouraged, but yes I know it is not easy, hell, if you do not know what u r doing, it isn't easy even if you r on sight !!! My post is not for anyone or any project , but for some installers that are looking to get into RTI and have some hands on experience with Pronto, Elan, URC and such , I can really help them jump start their RTI projects , not only by programing, but by also characterizing the system and helping them plan a system that will actually work, and make the installer look good. I have been in this business for 27 year, 15 year of that with RTI and Lexicon D500 even before RTI , I can design a system from scratch , and I have a lot of AUDIO VIDEO know how including High End AV. The installer I am looking to work with needs to be very much involved in all aspects ; what I can do, is take a big load of him and also make sure he knows how he will be walking out of a project before he enteres the job. I am not looking for 1,000 projects I am looking just for those that will fit. As to the GUI , I do not sell GUI !!! look at my add again, I am not even suggesting it. The screen shots can give you an idea of what my work looks like. My website is not for you guys, it is for my local customers and by now I don’t even need that, since 99% of my business is repeat customers, referrals, word of mouth ext.
I hope this info help all to understand my business and what I am offering.
Thanks for reading this Dan
