Hi,
I finally received a dell x3i. Found on dell.com there are some updates. Is it good to do so, or should i leave it the way it is?

Does te updates improve Total Remote?

Thanks!!

It does help a bit with the battery life and some of the internal apps....
I had some better experiences learning codes with the rom update than without.. but that may be just a fluke...
it's a pain do do... but befre you get too much loaded on it (cause it will wipe it) run the update now... ..
and when running the update BE PATIENT !! ..
i also had o close out the active sync just before the patch was pushed to the device which took a few tries.. timing is everything... but again be patient... and make sure you have the correct patch for the correct model.. it will be a paperweight otherwise... check the dell fourms for more details...

To the best of my knowledge the update has no impact on Total Remote, positive or negative.
