I have been using a Pronto for about 3 years.... Its getting a little worn around the edges and am thinking of replacing it with a PDA Possibly a Axim x50 (will be controlling serial devices in my home cinema with WiFi).
What sort of battey life could one expect using a PDA for remote use only. do they go into standby mode as the pronto does. and then awake on the screen touch. sorry if these are very basic question, but I know very little about PDA's
Thanks
P.S. would probebly use Total Remote initially until configured with NetRemote, HouseBot etc. which ever one I choose

Thanks..
So from the link constant use with WiFi is only a couple of hours. Can I assume that using it as just a remote (going into standby) One should achieve a lot longer.....but still need to charge up more often than the Pronto.
