I am assuming that you are referring to PDA's based on your other question.

It depends on what you want to use it for and how much you want to pay for it.

i would like to pay naturally few. :)
but the ira should be naturally good, exactly the same as the display. (I think the simpad is too heavily.)
but which pda have good ira and display?

by the way, can I steer also somehow with rf, or do go only with one pronto?

My suggestion for good screen and STRONG built-in IrDA is the Dell Axim X3, X30 or X50. They have been tested with Total Remote to work over a distance of 40 feet!

In my opinion, based on price and performance as a handheld computer AND as a consumer remote control, I would go with the Axim X30 series. It is less expensive that most, has GREAT IrDA output, and is one of the more full-functioned PDAs anywhere near the price point (especially if you get WiFi, which has nothing to do with CIR, but is damn fun).
