This isnt quite PDA related, but it is about the total remote.

I'm trying to use my total remote on a desktop PC using saved wav files.
It works fine on my ibook, but not on a desktop PC or laptop PC.

Is there something different with PC soundcards?

Thanks

As with Pocket PCs, the audio transmitter module requires a stereo audio output capable of driving headphones, and it must accurately reproduce signals out to 20KHz. Some Pocket PCs can't meet those modest requirements, and I imagine some cheap PC sound cards won't either.

FYI, Griffin's own iMic USB Audio device DOES work with the audio transmitter. I have NEVER tested any other sound card.
