Has anyone come across a very good UK based piece of software called TVpda it uses the TV listings downloaded from the Radio Times web site and the ability to use your PDA as a remote control.
You get s Sync package to the Radio Times site where you customise what listings you wish to download then sync with the web site, and download upto 14 days worth of tv listings. When you run the Radio times software on the PDA you have a screen with all your tv channels and current programs scrolling across in real time where you can select a program and view its contents or cast list, then switch the tv over with another button to watch that program, and the software also has a limited learning facility.

It really does work very well, sorry to all our US memebers but it will only work on UK TV listings from the Radio Times Web page.

I am in no way connected to this site, i just think it works extremly well especially over 1 meg broadband WiFi to my PDA and remote sync.

I downloaded the trial version only to find it didnt work, the tv listings were fine but the software wouldnt work as a remote to change the channel on my digibox. A quick email to TV Compass confirmed that the software wasnt compatable with the Dell Axim X3.
It would have been great though if it had worked.

I love the functionality of the software eventhough I have the same problem with my Ipaq 2210, i am told that compatability with other PDA`s will improve very soon.

I use the Radio Times software with the NEVO embedded in the IPAQ, this works fine, but i do have to switch programs, even still saves me having to pick up the paper to see whats on.
