Thanks for your input on 2210,i will continue my research on this site.I have another small problem regarding my Panasonic HD set top box QTR2140.I cant find the device codes for it.I called Panasonic Australia for assistance and they told me it has no device codes.I need the codes to down load some advanced key functions from the My Nevo web site.
thanks in advance

The device code, as you would see it if you decode the hex in a ccf file, will have no connection to the codes assigned to it by NEVO.

I have only used My Nevo to download advance functions a couple of times, and seem to remember that once a device is setup and the basic codes are working in Nevo, and the PDA is sync'd to the PC and the My Nevo site, then somewhere you have a list of all device set up in Nevo on your machine. ALso I thought that the site only allows you to download advance codes for the items you have set up.

To find the Nevo device codes on the PDA, with Nevo running, get to the home page. Icons in bar along the bottom, centre icon for selecting which room, press on that and a menu should pop up, bottom item in list is Display Device Codes.

Anything you download for use in Nevo has no compatibility with any othe prog that uses ccf files.

BUT, if you have a code in Nevo, that you want to use in a ccf based app, then there is only one way round it that I have found. That involves another learning remote, download advanced code to Nevo, learn into the other learning remote. Close Nevo and open the ccf app on the PDA ,and learn back into the PDA. Messy, and you often end up with very dirty codes that will need manual editing to clean them up, but it is often your only choice
