Yes Neil, I did today.
Unfortunately the "full CCF support" is not so full after all. I fact none of the CCF's I tested worked correctly. Sometimes only the first panel was shown, sometimes the CCF didn't load at all. :-(

Ditto, I couldn't get the program to load any of my .CCF's.

You have to put the ccf into the device directory and load it with "manage devices". Unfortunately this is undokumented. I only found out by accident.
Nevertheless unusable at the moment.

The first couple of times I tried, I got a message about "not enough memory", the last few times my iPAQ just froze. Guess the .CCF support is not ready for prime time.

If you look under the help htm file in the downloaded zip folder, you will find the instructions for putting the ccf files in the device folder, you then select them with Manage devices, but out of 15 different ccf files I had, not one would do anything, no pages appear, just an error message.

But yes, totally unusable at the moment

The current version (3.5.1) of Vito Remote is dated 09/21/04. Has anyone tried to make it work with any downloaded .CCF files? I am a complete novice at this. If I want to test it, can someone recommend a .CCF file to download and try?

Thanks!

Using an hp ipaq 5555 - I tried the "directivo" ccf for philip's pronto. It 'kind of works'.

After activating on the Manage Devices menu, it presents menus, submenus, subsubmenus, etc. That is, I can navigate around (pretty nifty imo).

But no IR for "leaf" buttons appears to be emitted?!

I'll see if I can find a ".ccf" editor that might be good for hello world purposes. Hope to get this working...
