Hi! I am having difficulty getting OmniRemote to learn the original Phillips 30-hour TIVO remote. I set the carrier frequency to 37500 as suggested on a thread on this forum with no success training with that frequency. I also tried setting the training to fast with no success. Is it possible to get the TIVO remote on my Palm Pilot? Also, is there a way to export the settings I have created so far on my Palm Omniremote. I'd hate to loose it all since I've done all the remote designing and creation on the Palm Pilot itself which has consumed lots of time. Is Ordesktop the software I'd use to save settings? I didn't see any option in Ordesktop to import Pronto files or anything. What am I missing? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Yes you can learn the singnals from the TIVO remote to your Palm.
I have done it.
You can save the pdb.you have made, but you wil not be able to combine it with any other pdb.files that other people have to share with you.
I would suggest that you spend the $20 for the cost of the ORDESKTOP program ,because it is a dream to work with, and you be able to combine pdb.files with this program.
I will e-mail my pdb.file for Phillips TiVo to you.
Please support Peter Sharpe's ORDESKTOP program, you will not regret it.

I didn't have any luck learning Tivos remote either on a Palm IIIx. Tivo didn't respond as if I was using a remote with a different unit number. How do the Tivo remotes identify themselves?

Here are some Pronto codes for the Philips Tivo:
0: [Link: geocities.com]
1: [Link: geocities.com]
2: [Link: geocities.com]
3: [Link: geocities.com]
4: [Link: geocities.com]

These are generated codes and have been confirmed to work with OR Desktop / OmniRemote

Pretty cool. These are the first Pronto codes that I've gotten to work on my Palm 3 using the ORDESKTOP software.
For those Phillips TiVo users who want to save some time from copying the codes individually my pdb.file for the Phillips TiVo is yours to use at [Link: eesley.com]

I went ahead and purchased the Ordesktop software. It is fantastic! It allowed me to integrate the TIVO onto my Omniremote Palm. Thanks super much! :)
