Vito Remote claims CCF support as of version 2.6. V2.7 was released feb 11 with improved CCF support.
Has anyone tried this?

Soon well need a poll to determine the best PDA remote sw with CCF support. Candidates are:

Pdawin Tv Remote Control 5.5
Griffin Total Remote
Netremote 0.995rc2 /w direct IR
and lastly Vito remote 2.7

Had a look at Vito's CCF functionality.

What a letdown - Couldn't figure out how to enable CCF mode (mind that was after I downloaded their mobile version which turned out to be version 2.5.2).

Maybe it's just me - please let me know if you figure it out.

Their site sucks- very slow. No English manual there, so looked at the German one, no mention of any CCF functionality. Looks like another bogus program like Griffin's Total Remote crap.

Vito's definition of CCF support is a "little" different than everyone elses. Here's their reply to my question: How does one use CCF's in Vito Remote:

"1. Tap main menu and switch to Edit mode.
2. Tap a button you want to train. In appeared window:
a. enter a name for current button (required for hardware button mappin); b.change color and label;
3. Check Select from file radio button and tap Browse button.
4. Select the file type:
Remote devices (*.vtr) - these are predefined settings used by VITO Remote; CCF files (*.ccf) - these are standard files for various universal remote controls.
5. Select a file, tap [OK].
6. Select a code name to be used for that particular button, and tap [OK].
Repeat this for as many buttons as many you want to program."

i.e. They support LEARNING codes from CCF's but not the graphics, macros etc. - So barend was very close to the truth about bogus. At least marketing bogus or very poor language skills.
