Does anyone know of anyway that i could get hold of unique device id from an ultramote 2 reg screen, i have tried the trial software on my ipaq 2210 but the software is incompatible and all i want to do is get hold of the ir extender to use with pdawin please help.

Unfotunately i dont know anybody else who owns a pda to install the software on to get hold of the id.

What device do you need to get such a compatible unique ID? I personally would never register a software that uses such a rediculous registration, but I can understand your problem. Perhaps I can help you out.

BTW: Are you sure the extender is supported by PDAWin properly on the 2210, I know that 5.5 supports the internal CIR but about Ultamote CF I'm not so sure?

Hi thanks for your reply one or two users have reported that the extender does work and work well with pdawin to get the unique device id you have to install the trial software on to a compatible pda and it should give you the id to register your software it currently works with theese pda's

Sorry, their website was down yesterday so I couldn't download the program.
Here is your ID:

Keep in mind that this is the key for my 3850. I suppose you will never be able to use the software.
