I assume you've read the skin documentation found here:

[Link: griffintechnology.com]

It seems fairly simple. Make a PNG with with several screens representing the different states (normal, pressed) and add the button mask at the end.
The mask bit probably takes some time to get right, but it's doable.

What are you specifically having trouble with?

hi, thanks for your answer.

my problem is: can i make as much buttons as i want to, or must i use the buttonmask as it is in the skinŽdeveloper kit?

what do you mean with;"..ad the buttonmask in the end"?

what do they mean with their "button color mask" and their color palette?
so you see i have no idea about it and that makes me a bit upset!

it would be great if you could tell me step by step how to do it.

thanks a lot

Yes you can make any number of buttons with different sizes etc.
Total remote recognizes the individual "buttons" using the RBG color code in the mask.
If you plan to train all your buttons this may not make sense , but imagine you want to use the IR-library with your new skin. How should total remote recognize your "PLAY" button. It does so through the mask that has an area colored with the RGB code matching the "PLAY" function.
You find the entire button mask colors at the end of the document I linked above.

So read the manual once more carefully, it's all in there. ;-)
