I'm following various threads on the NetRemote forum site (www.netremote.org) regarding the next major release (v1). Plans are to have direct IR capability, including IR learning. Bearing in mind that NetRemote already has ccf file input, this is likely to be a worthy alternative to PDAWIn and Total Remote.

One issue already raised is the various IR extenders in use with older PDAs. It would be a shame if the software released could not be used by some of us because the extender is not supported.

Have a look for yourself, but if you feel that your IR extender should be considered for support in the next version, let them know.
