sponge_worthy,

The Axim X5 is really not compatible with TR (I have one). I have a lot of PPC's, and the ones which work are my Ipaq 3600 WITH THE BLASTER and my Audiovox PPC4100 phone (better range than the Ipaq at about 25-35 feet.

The RCDEV files are the device configuration files
generated by Total Remote, and should be found
in a subdirectory called DeviceFiles off of the
main Total Remote directory. On a default install
this would be Program Files/Total Remote/DeviceFiles.

Yes, the X30 is an extremely good platform for
Total Remote. It cannot use the audio transmitter
due to limitations of the X30's audio hardware,
but it had incredibly strong IrDA output and has
been tested to work over 40 feet.

This is a VERY untrue statement and shouldn't be made by you.

It does not work any farther than 4 feet, sometimes 5.
I have 8 components in my system, sony, phillips etc..
none work from farther away than 4 feet

very dishonest.

MAN! This kind of statement makes me REALLY angry.

Hi TJD,

What blaster do you have with your Ipaq?
By the way, I tried TV Remote Controller 5.5 and haven't had great succes yet (but I'm a newbie). What stuff do you use on Ipaq?

Thanks in advance.

I am using your demo program with my Toshiba E800, and seems work ok, the issue I have at the moment:

1. my E800 is run in VGA mode, I try demo version it only use 1/4 of the screen, so it there anyway to run in fullscreen in VGA??

2. since the E800's IR is on the left side and not on top of the machine, I turn the machine into landscape mode, but the skin doesn't rotate to follow, is there a way to make it work??

3. how to make color ccf for E800, so Total Remote can pickup and use it.

many thanks.
