I find the solution with an IR-extender and the Ipaq Jacket a bit big and "lumpy"..
Have anyone any idea if you can use the Bluetooth unit, a sentral computer, an IR sender located near the equipment? Any ideas?

I do not know if it works with Bluetooth, but Netremote works using Wireless LAN if you have an iPAQ with WLAN built in. Search for Netremote and Girder.
