I know nothing about the Tungsten and Omniremote but I seem that it can learn IR commands from original remote.

Assuming that the IR frequency is within the correct range, (sorry can't remember the frequencies now) then it should work.
You will obviously have to get hold of an original remote first, maybe the dealer will lend you one? .

Do you already have the Tungsten and Omni remote?, if not then there maybe a better solution using one of the OneFor All range of learning remotes. Do a web search for their website

I have just had a look at the link you posted, and the only remote control units I noticed work on RF (radio frequency) remotes and not IR remotes. The only reference I saw for IR was passive/active IR movement sensors. is there a reference somewhere there for IR remotes? Sorry my French is not good enough to find much else.
