" Open your .ccf file in ProntoEdit, then locate the remote control in the left pane under Devices. Find the screen that has the actual IR codes (rectangular buttons).

Double click on the button and go to the "action" tab and double click on "[C] Learned". That will bring up a dialog called "Edit IR Code". "

My ProntoEdit is v 4.0.5
I do what there says but doesn't appear "[C] Learned" but appears "Set Ir" and I can't do what it's said.
someone can help me please.

Hi,
What EXACTLY do you want to do?
Please in the future be specific in the title of the thread and in the description of the problem...
I'd like to help you if you can tell me what you need.

PS: if you want to paste a IR code into the button, then you came very close:
-click the SetIR button in the Action tab
-bellow is a frame titled IR code: just paste the HEX code you have directly INTO the white frame and press OK

Sorry... I wasn't very specific.
I have omniremote, and I lost the TV's remote so I downloaded the *.ccf for my grundig remote.

I read in omniremote's manual:
"Open your .ccf file in ProntoEdit, then locate the remote control in the left pane under Devices. Find the screen that has the actual IR codes (rectangular buttons).
Double click on the button and go to the "action" tab and double click on "[C] Learned". That will bring up a dialog called "Edit IR Code"."

But in ProntoEdit I can't find "[C] Learned" to copy and then past in memoPad in my palm for omniremote learn the Grundig remote.

Hope that's more specific, and thanks for the Help.

You need to look in the action list (white box). What do you see? do you see a [c]? if not, is it an other letter?

Here is a list of what all the categories mean.

[A] is an alias to a device's action list.
[B] is an alias to another LCD button.
[C] is learned/hex code for infrared signals (command).
[D] is a delay.
[J] is a page jump. (RC5000)
[K] is an alias to a hard key.
[S] is a beep (sound). (Pronto)
[T] is a timer. (Pronto)

For you A,B, C and K are important, C means a HEX code, A,B and K mean to look elsewhere. For instance B would have the name of the device-panel-button of the alias.

Once you reached a button with [c] in the action list, then you need to dblclk on [c] to bring you to the input page. There you should either see the code at the bottom of the page or you will see a button called "view IR" if you see "view IR" press it to show you the IR display
