Does anyone know if the PDA-ir can be used under Windows XP? The Compaq TC1000 doesn't include an IR port and I would like to add one.

It gets a bit more complicated with laptops & tablets.
The current 'best' way is to use netremote (netremote.org) along with a wireless card to a home network which then drives a slinke (serial port IR blaster).
