I'm trying to use the shareware version of pdawin to see if it will meet my needs or not (at least compared with Nevo).

I've downloaded some CCF files with codes for my Tag McLaren AV32R but have a couple of problems.

When I'm pressing buttons, after a short while the program just seems to hang. Has anybody else found this?

Also, if I switch it into fullscreen mode, how on earth do I get out of fullscreen (short of doing a soft reset).

Is anbody else using a PDA with their AV32R, if so, how do you find the IR performance? It doesn't help that IR eye is on the far right hand side of the AV32R and this is on the right hand side of the room.

The IR performance is fine for every component except the AV32R which is a real pain.

Anthony, this sounds like your TAG is using RC5 codes. I have the same problem that the RC5 codes my LINN equippment is using, does not work with PDAwin und certain PPC Windows versions. I am using a Axim with PPC2003 and RC5 codes do not work (exactly the same problem as you experience) but on an older T-Sinus Pad running WinCe 3.0 it works great. Could you pls. post what OS version you are running on your iPAQ2210 ?
When you are in full-screen mode, there ist in the upper left corner a small red X. Just tab this and you are back to window mode.

Yes the Tag does use RC5 codes, is that a weak point for pdawin??

My iPAQ runs PPC 2003 (or whatever it's called).
Thanks for the tip about the cross. What I was seeing was a screen from pdawin saying "please load a CCF etc" with no screen "furniture" at all after playing with some of the buttons.

Now I know that if I click near the top of the screen, the title bar appears again.

The wife will not be impressed, I sold it to her on the basis of getting rid of/putting away our other remotes. Guess that's not going to happen just yet...
