Hi there,

jut wondered if users could give their opinions of the Toshiba 740 (or 750) Vs iPaq H3970 as a remote from experience. I believe that the Toshiba does not require a sleeve but how does it compare to the iPaq (which I have used when ussing the PDA Win 5.5 software). I am presuming that the Toshiba needs the Electric Dog IR extender? Is this so??

Hi,

I had serious problems with hard buttons on 740 and Pdawin software. I used Electric Dog IR extender, which worked fine. However, whenever I tried to turn up the volume, the button "jammed" and I had to turn off the device..

I emailed the good folks at PDAWIN.

I was after the IPAQ 39xx series.

Their advice was that the IPAQ2210 or 2215 was the best one to go for.

I did and it rocks.

Cheers
