Hi all,
I was a happy owner of the old Philips Pronto RU890 and my screen is now on the fritz. If I don't get it repaired, has anyone had any experiences with the ProntoLite software for Palm PDAs? Will it accept my old CCF files and work? Which palm has a good / strong enough IRDA for it to work effectively as a universal remote. I am looking for the lowest end, cheapest Palm model that will run this software effectively - basically its just a cheaper replacement for my Pronto. Do I have to use the stylus to tap the keys or can I just use my fingers like my Pronto?
Thanks, William

no (at least not the first version, don't know if they changed it since then). The initial reviews were very disappointing, nothing like a Pronto in configurability. There are a few softwares that can import CCFs.
